Bullet journal to do list with an illustration of a taped note saying "Make It Happen!"

January 2020 feels like it was somewhere between last week and several years ago. Regardless of the time, a lot has happened since then, in the world, but also in ImageWorks Creative. We’d like to take this opportunity to reflect on what we’ve achieved so far this year and what it means for the people we serve.

What ImageWorks Creative has Accomplished So Far in 2020

New Services & Features

Web Design Plans for Everyone

To kick off this “To Done” list, we introduced new Web Design Plans back in May. In today's fast-paced, tech-driven, user focused ecosystem, everyone knows how important your website is to your business. It’s important and it’s complicated, so we structured our new plans to make things easy, understandable, and affordable for any budget. Our website design packages include: web design, maintenance, optimization, redesign, conversion optimization, hosting, and security updates. We hope these new plans open up new options for small businesses owners.

Small Business Relief

Speaking of small business owners, ImageWorks Creative also created a Small Business Stimulus Package. Closing businesses and going remote definitely threw small businesses for a loop, and many are still struggling to recover. Marketing is selling to your future customers and can help many businesses weather storms such as this. Knowing this and having the skills to help businesses with their brand and marketing motivated our team to open our services to those impacted by business closures free for 30 days. In those 30 days, we:

  • Analyze Your Industry & Plan Your Strategy
  • Set, Track & Measure Business Goals
  • Verify & Optimize Your Google Stack Entities
  • Review Your Homepage For Conversion UX & Recommendations
  • Setup Google Remarketing Ads
  • Optimize Your Website’s Metadata

The ImageWorks Creative Small Business Stimulus Package is still accepting applications, but will close on July 31, 2020 - so APPLY NOW!

ImageWorks Website & Social Media Make Over

If you caught our last blog post, then you know the story behind our updates to the look of our digital presence. For those who aren’t subscribed to our blog updates (which we recommend), let us give you the highlights. Both our home page and our social media profiles got an updated look with redesigns inspired by the power of imagination! Our team gave our website a much needed refresh and our banners now match our site, giving us a cohesive look across our platforms. We definitely recommend checking out their work on our website, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube channel.

New Websites

We do a lot of things at ImageWorks Creative, but we love when they all come together to create awesome websites. Launching or relaunching a client’s website is a major step in the ImageWorks Creative process, so here are all the client who’ve taken that step since the beginning of the year:

New Talent

Jordan Latham, Marketing Assistant

In February, we hired Jordan Latham as a Marketing Assistant. Jordan joins us after graduating from George Mason University, where she majored in Communication/Public Relations, rowed for the Mason Women’s Rowing Team, and was Vice President of Finance of her sorority chapter. In addition to drafting Google Ads and managing ImageWorks’ social media, Jordan writes the majority of our blog posts and thinks it’s very strange to be writing about herself in the third person right now.

Jillian Perdos, Part-Time Graphic Designer

Jillian Perdos, our new Part-Time Graphic Designer, was also hired back in February. Jillian graduated from High Point University in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Design. Before coming to ImageWords Creative, she interned at an online education company as well as a public relations and digital marketing agency. Jillian is a wizard with Adobe Illustrator and creates crisp compositions and icons for our clients.

Michael Wayne Stevenson, Senior Graphic Designer

As introduced in our April blog post, Michael Wayne Stevenson joined the ImageWorks Team from Southern California. Michael got his degree from the Art Institute of California San Diego, but his experience in graphic design goes back to when he was just a “shop kid” for a local skate shop when he was a teenager. He’s our heavy hitter, creating bold designs for print and web that demand attention.
