Organic AND PPC Advertising. An effective one-two punch!

Why should you use both Pay Per Click (PPC) and organic search engine optimization (SEO)?

Is a 16% in Brand Association a good enough reason? It is for me! This reminds me of the print ad technique of using two ads in a publication. The thought behind this is that the user will subliminally notice the first ad, and if they choose not to read it, would be much more likely to read the second, because it is now familiar to their short time memory. Your basic Jedi mind trick. :-)

Here's another juicy tidbit on knowledge re: Social media 411:

  • More than 400 million consumers are active on Facebook, and just less than 106 million consumers are Twitter users.
  • Ninety-one percent of business buyers read blogs, watch user-generated video and participate on social media sites, according to Forrester Research.
  • Eighty-nine percent of reporters use blogs for story research and 65 percent use social networking sites, according to a recent study by Cision and George Washington University.

Cheers,

Scott
