It seems like just yesterday that the ImageWorks Creative team was brainstorming names, logos and campaigns for a new building under construction in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood. We knew that the building was going to be a tall one, with sweeping views of the monuments and the R-B corridor, and we knew that it would house some of the neighborhood’s most stylish luxury apartments.
Today, The View (which our team named and branded right here in Chantilly) is one of the last buildings to deliver in The Shooshan Company’s eight-building Liberty Center project that is now credited with reinventing Ballston.
In addition to the studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments being nearly full, the building has an incomparable selection of restaurants. Top Chef winner Mike Isabella set up Arlington’s first Kapnos Taverna there, and Taylor Gourmet was the first to sign on, making The View home to its first Arlington location. Isabella is also expanding his empire there, with a Mexican cantina called Pepita and a Ramen shop, Yona, both opening soon.
It’s easy to see why residents are drawn to The View at Liberty Center. With fine dining just steps away, glamorous amenities, and the opportunity to be in the middle of Ballston’s revival, it’s an ideal home for young professionals. In fact, ImageWorks’ own project manager, who was involved in branding the building from the very beginning, just moved into his own apartment there.
He says, “The View is incredible – and I’m not just talking about the sight-lines from my apartment. Now I’m physically living in the brand that we created, and loving every minute of it.”
We’re very proud of the work we’ve done for The View, and we’re happy to have played a small part in a project that’s bringing new life to a local neighborhood.
